Everyone’s saying the same thing about Justin Fields after Sunday’s game: he’s the future of the Chicago Bears.
Fields had a breakout performance in the Bears’ Week 17 victory over the Detroit Lions. He threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, and he also rushed for 132 yards.
Fields’ performance was particularly impressive considering that he was playing behind a patchwork offensive line and without his top two wide receivers, Darnell Mooney and Allen Robinson.

The Bears have a lot of talented players on their roster, including rookies Velus Jones Jr. and David Montgomery. If Fields can continue to improve, the Bears could be a contender in the NFC North next season.
