Police Search For Ex-NFL Player After Mom Was Found Dead

Police are searching for former NFL player Phillip Adams after his mother was found dead in her Rock Hill, South Carolina, home on Wednesday.

Adams’ mother, 70-year-old Shirley Adams, was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. Police have not released any information about a motive or how long Adams has been missing.

Adams played for the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Oakland Raiders during his NFL career. He retired from the league in 2016.

Adams was arrested in 2017 on charges of assault and battery. He was later found guilty of disorderly conduct and sentenced to community service.
