According to multiple reports, the Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran running back Kenyan Drake to their practice squad. Drake, 29, played for the Ravens in 2022, appearing in 12 games with five starts. He rushed for 482 yards with four touchdowns, gaining 4.4 yards per carry.
Drake is a versatile running back who can run between the tackles, catch the ball out of the backfield, and pass protect. He has a good combination of size, speed, and power. Drake is also a proven performer in the NFL, having rushed for over 4,000 yards and 26 touchdowns in his career.
The Ravens have a talented running back room, led by JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards. However, both Dobbins and Edwards missed significant time due to injuries in 2022. Drake will provide the Ravens with depth and experience at the running back position.
