The Green Bay Packers announced on Friday, September 29, 2023 that tight end Luke Musgrave has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. He will miss the remainder of the season.
Musgrave suffered the injury during the Packers’ 24-23 victory over the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. He was blocking on a running play when he went down with the injury.
Musgrave was a rookie free agent signing by the Packers this offseason. He was expected to compete for a backup tight end role.

The Packers now have just two healthy tight ends on their roster: Robert Tonyan and Tyler Davis. They may look to add another tight end via free agency or trade in the coming days.
We wish Luke Musgrave a speedy recovery.
